According to John's vision, the beast's name is described as having 3 words, that are 6 letters long, like this;_ _ _ _ _ _ = 6, _ _ _ _ _ _ = 6, _ _ _ _ _ _ = 6.(If you think about how one would describe words of a language, that hadn't been invented yet, they would probably have to count the letters) u n i t e d = 6, s t a t e s = 6, a m e r i c a = 7. we realize "america" has seven letters, & are willing to allow 1 letter of discretion, since there are more then 1 wild beasts being discussed here, lets read on; but first of all, look @ how the beast is described in verses 11, and 16. In this version, the "new world translation of the Holy Scriptures", the first wild beast is described as an "it", which makes sense since it is talking about a government, and in this one, there are many men, who make up this government, making many, in this day and age, who are opposed, making them BEASTS.  Many read the 1611 King James version, which describes it as a "he", now, its easy to understand how there can be so many interpretations, but it is not a person, or Rome. 
                                                            Second Wild Beast
Now, lets look @ another wild beast, in the 17th chapter of the book, "Revelation", the 8th verse.  8. The wild beast that you saw was, but is not, and yet is about to ascend out of the abyss, and it is to go off into destruction. And when they see how the wild beast was, but is not, and yet will be present, those who dwell on the earth will wonder admiringly, but their names have not been written upon the scroll of life from the founding of the world. 9. In verse 8 it talks about an anonymous seed once again, this time telling about it being "1", by calling it a "king", but it chooses not to be, so withdraws,... in this case, it is a separation by 
divorce, leaving 7, "kings".

All this is talking about a certain people, of a certain government. What does this mean? Figuring out, so it can come to your reality, is half the fun of Christendom, to many, to others, it may be a different revelation, @ any rate, the opening of these seals is a BIG THING, so just remember, "you heard it here first".
